Recently my husband devoured a very special anniversary brunch at Park Side Eatery at 40 Phila Street in Saratoga Springs. I had been craving latkes since the holidays after salivating over so many latke photos on Instagram. I googled where to find latkes in Saratoga Springs, and couldn’t find any leads so I was ecstatic to find Latkes & Lox on their menu. A staff member warned me that it was going to be a lot of food, but that wasn’t going to scare me this particular morning. My husband ordered the white fish sandwich special. We shared.
Park Side Eatery is tucked away in an office building so it is not the kind of place, you’ll find on your own walking down the street, although it does have a nice sign. (I found out about this place via an Instagram post by @SaratogaFoodAdventures). The restaurant has counter service, and brunch main dishes are in the $7-$14 range, but the quality is superb so well worth it. The self serve coffee is strong and good. I’d highly recommend Park Side Eatery if you are looking for a hearty weekday breakfast, brunch, or lunch in Saratoga Springs. The only thing I would add would be seat cushions for the wooden booths, but maybe that would lead me to want to stay here and drink coffee and eat all day.
